How to Monitor and Compare Competitors in Rankflo AI?

Learn how Rankflo AI's Competitor Tracking works and how to use it to understand where your brand stands against competitors in AI-generated responses.

AI is changing how people find products and brands. Around 37% of consumers now start their searches with AI instead of Google. 72% of AI shoppers use AI as their main tool to research products and compare brands. AI search traffic also converts at 14.2%, while Google sits at just 2.8%. If your competitors show up in ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini answers and you don't, they win the customer before you even enter the picture.

Rankflo AI tracks how your brand and your competitors appear across all major AI search engines. The Competitors feature lets you add, classify, search, and compare every brand you compete with, all from one place.

Step 6: Filter Competitors by Relation

At the top of the list, you get quick filter tabs:

  • All
  • Direct Competitors
  • My Brand
  • Ignored
  • No relation

Click any tab to instantly view only that group. You can also use the "Search by name" box on the right to find a specific brand fast.

Step 7: Use Tags to Group Competitors

Click the "Tags" button on the top right. A dropdown opens with tags like Agile, AI, AI Solutions, Cloud, Consulting, and many more. Pick one or more tags to filter your competitor list by category.

That's it. You now have a clean, sorted view of every competitor, ready to track and compare across AI search.

Why Tracking Competitors in Rankflo AI Matters

When AI gives a recommendation, it usually names only two or three brands. If you don't know which competitors keep showing up, you cannot close the gap. Rankflo's Competitor tracking shows you exactly who is winning the AI search game, so you can plan your next move with real data, not guesses.

Here is what this feature does for your brand, business, SaaS, agency, or enterprise:

  • Spot who steals your AI mentions. See which competitors get cited more often across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity.
  • Stay organized with tags and filters. Sort competitors by industry, category, or any logic that fits your business.
  • Catch rising threats early. Notice when a new brand starts appearing in AI answers, before they grow into a real problem.
  • Compare visibility side by side. Benchmark your share of voice against direct rivals across every major AI model.
  • Save hours of manual research. No more checking AI tools one by one. Every competitor mention sits in one dashboard.
  • Build smarter strategy with real data. Use AI search insights to shape your content, positioning, and SEO calls.

For agencies, this means cleaner client reports. For SaaS and enterprise teams, it means faster moves against rivals. For marketing teams, it means clear focus on where to win next.
